Dr. David M. Baxter, D.O., brings a wealth of expertise in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Primary Care to his practice, emphasizing patient education and empowerment in treatment decisions. He obtained his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Crozer Health, followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the same institution. Dr. Baxter is dual board-certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine, holding additional certifications in ACLS, BLS, and a PA state medical license.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Baxter serves as clinical faculty for the Crozer Health Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and is actively involved as a Team Physician for the Team USA National Youth Soccer. He is a member of esteemed organizations such as the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Delaware Valley Society for Sports Medicine (DVSSM), and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
